Duglas. You might be correct. I noticed that the pCloud appimage requires fuse to work. Installing fuse will uninstall fuse3 xdg-desktop-portal xdg-desktop-portal-gnome and xdg-desktop-portal-gtk and re-introduce the problem of browsers freezing when using the file dialogue. pCloud is aware of the problem and are supposedly working on a fix.
I have emailed pCloud support and they forwarded the problem to Linux techdevelopers. They told me when it gets fixed they will email me. After Ifound the freezing I completely rebuilt my Ubuntu 22.04 from scratch andwithout pCloud installed everything has been normal since then. When I hearfo them, I will forward it to you.

Also happening to me with xdg-desktop-portal-gnome installed. For me it does not seems to be related with chrome apps.#29 fixes the issue for me but it should be a last resort as this affects performance.
#29: \"Disabling 'Use hardware acceleration when available' from chrome settings the problem stop happend.\"Me: Nope. Again, still happening. I think reopening the browser falls into the behavior presented above.

This can occur for a number of reasons, the most common of which is a misconfiguration of the packet size resulting in download session information becoming scrambled. I relaunch Finder, drag and drop the zip to the desktop in the sidebar, click desktop in the sidebar and nothing! Keyboard shortcuts no longer work either for accessing those folders (i.e. shift+cmd+d for desktop and option+cmd+L for downloads).
