I updated my High Definition audio devive driver to 6.1. 7600 build and now all my programs who play music just have stop working. I donthave any sound for anything now too. Problem solved.I got the same problem after windows updates on 2015/4/5 that sent me this driver. The worst part was this driver could not be removed by any method.After multiple checks I found this driver will cause errors with Chrome or/and IE (64bit version).Firefox is the only browser will not be interfered by this driver.----However, I have used remote desk for 10 years. It remains mystery why MS sent me such an old driver till now.

I updated Windows XP on my old laptop to Windows 7. After installing I tried to open internet connection but Win 7 says that it cannot find network adapter because of a missing driver. I tried to find network adapter from device manager but could not find one. My network connection was working fine on Win XP. If you go the SiS site, they do not have any drivers for the network card, nor do they for Vista (which you can sometimes use). The 'newest' drivers they have are for Windows Server 2003 which I am pretty sure will not work with Windows 7.

Note: If the driver is not listed click Windows Update. If you don't see it after Windows Update is clicked, go to Microsoft update catalogue and search for HP LaserJet 2800. Pick the 6.1.7600.16385 driver version. Extract the driver, click Have Disk in the screenshot above and point to the drivers extracted location.
